Wenda Zonnefeld

Wenda Zonnefeld is a composer, recording artist, and multi instrumentalist. She owned a musical instrument repair shop called "The Music Doctor" for 22 years. The repair shop led to Wenda receiving private instruction from prominent jazz composers and performers. Wenda became politically active after her babysitter was hit by a car, and worked on the city of Kirkland's school walk route board for two years. Her neighborhood now has sidewalks. She volunteers at her son's school (Bellevue Christian School), teaching the jazz band how to improvise a solo, works with any new saxophonists, and gives workshops on instrument maintenance for the campus. Wenda graduated from The Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program and completed two final projects in a team of 1. She is very proud of her family, owns "Turbo Jazz Publishing" and loves to compose.
