About the SCA

Mission Statement

To bring Seattle composers together in a non-competitive atmosphere to share ideas, disseminate pertinent information, and attract guest speakers of interest to the group.
Publicize the organization through concerts, sponsorship by other professional organizations in an effort to promote the SCA and the Seattle composers' community as a whole.
Expand our organization so that it includes a large enough membership to support small functions and attract the attention of larger national organizations.

The SCA board members are all accomplished composers living and working in the Puget Sound area.
