Sound CurrentsFebruary 25, 2003 at Holy Trinity Luthern Church, Mercer Island, Washington
Co-sponsored by the Washington Composers Forum, this bi-annual concert series was founded by four SCA members to showcase works written for commerical work-for-hire projects or by commercial music composers in a traditional concert setting. Our goal is to continue to educate the public on the vast amount of fascinating music that is being provided for video games, software, and film by performing those works in extended forms in the concert hall. The debut concert on February 25th will feature:
A Waffle Reception will take place immediately following the concert. A second Sound Currents concert will be planned for the fall.
